I hate to sound like the guests on the Meet the Press roundtable, but look

...some of us live in states with a mask mandate; good for those of you who don't. In addition, any private business has a right to require a mask whether or not a mandate is even in place--and they have a right to deny entrance to those who aren't wearing them.

That said, I don't know of any businesses which want to alienate customers. What I've noticed (and even more, now) is that shoppers are removing masks as they go about their shopping, pulling them down, or uncovering their noses. Even Wegmans cashiers and stockers are pulling down their masks. Yeah, we all want to breathe.

I DON'T wear a mask outdoors, I don't wear one driving, and I don't wear one walking from my car to the store. But I do while shopping. I wear only surgical masks, with 2 of the 3 layers removed. I could blow out birthday candles with my nostrils alone lol. That gets me into the stores, and no Karens have stopped me or noticed--not that I care if they did. They're cheap enough to dispose of daily, and I do. As a gag gift, someone gave me a cloth one which says I HAVE COVID-19, but I never wear it because cloth masks are shweddy, dirty, and yucky. (People who say they're laundering their cloth ones after each use are lying.)

Stop questioning why people are wearing masks when you know they're doing so only to comply with a store's requirement.
