The flu and pneumonia also kill a large number of people every year.
Should senior care homes take precautions? Certainly.
Should immunocompromised people be careful? Certainly.
But the flu is also not a good reason to lock down society and force annual vaccines onto children whose immune systems are already overloaded with vaccinations.
Car accidents also kill a great number of people, yet we don’t ban driving, but we do ban drink driving.
Reasonable precautions can prevent some deaths but not even extreme precautions can prevent all death. Sometime your number is just up.
I'm sorry for your loss. I do think the virus is real. However people that own small business are losing everything they have worked their lives for with this shutdown. A hoax, no. An overreaction yes. We all have loved ones with comorbidities. But we can't shut down the world. Peace
I am sorry for your loss Pede. It's a virus and no matter how long we lock down or how many precautions we take we will all be exposed to it until we reach herd immunity. I have 2 co-workers out with COVID and both are symptomatic and both were very careful. I think I already had COVID, but if I get it for sure from being exposed to my co-workers- then I got a bio-weapon illness caused by a Chinese lab that had US funding. That's where I am going to lay the blame and not on my co-workers or my fellow citizens.

Sorry for your loss. Wash your hands, take reasonable precautions, and fuck the masks.
How old, if you don't mind me asking?
Sorry for your loss either way

The flu kills half a million people around the world every year. Viruses can be deadly. Sucks, but what are you going to do, shut down everything?
