We don’t need facial recognition, we have 4Chan.

They can ban all they want. It is in full use in every major airport, what I‘m guessing is this is in response to is the fact that there is chatter of person tracing to other planned protests. And as to how good the software is that can do this, if you have a current i phone you know how good it is. This is not being used to scan video, it is being used real time.

After 100 days of riots, what would this mean for the hundreds of hours of footage pumped out into the world in recent weeks?

Retroactive purge of facial recognition to circle back around and bring justice to those responsible?

Each of these genetic defects need to carry their shame into future job interviews.

Fuck off. No. We don't want your bullshit facial recognition tech to substitute putting men and women on the ground to fucking stop crimes.

While I am no fan of facial recognition, the timing of this is suspect. In addition, based on what we have seen recently from Portland, I do not believe that the leadership currently has the capacity to do anything for the better good of their city or our country.

Why do you think we have a mask.mandate all over the country? Its harder for facial recognition to work.

Didn't read the article but facial recognition software is used on streets, in stores, by police. Recognizing people from video online is a different deal I think. And if you check facial recognition software is pretty much garbage so probably won't matter either way. The videos are the gold mine anyway
