Agree -- no way charges are dropped on Chauvin. They may change the charges, but they will get him to a trial.

A trial they know they have no chance of winning?? I guess if career suicide, by railroading an innocent man, is what they want. Only an idiot prosecutor would pursue this. There isn’t even probable cause

Chauvin is 100% innocent

Depends on the judge or grand jury.

It reminds me of the LaCrosse players Mike Nifong charged. Knowingly ignored exculpatory evidence, pushed a bogus case, and got himself disbarred and jailed eventually. Nifong was also a Democrat. But before real justice was done, the Duke LaCrosse players were smeared globally.

Yeah, we’ll see. I think any prosecutor know what will happen to them if they proceed. The pressure to push it as far as they can go will be immense. Going to be real hard for them once in front of a jury though

The State AG is Keith Ellison. So yeah, I think they will charge Chauvin with anything that will stick, even if his lunch break was a minute too long that day.

If it's not dropped tomorrow then it will be dropped soon or they will lose the case bigly. The cops have already showed proof that Floyd has fentanyl pills in his mouth as can be seen in the body cam footage.

Really? No way? Are you a law expert? A prosecutor or a defense attorney? A judge? Never say no way in legal matters.

Edit: /s in case it wasn't clear.
