Its weird, right? Season tickets I waited 15 years on a list to get... returned. I’m not on FanDuel, I’m not setting my lineup for my fantasy team, I’m not listening to podcasts to find out who made the cut, I’m not watching NFL network to see where all the free agents are going, I’m not reading countless articles and watching videos from training camp.

25 years ago I married way above my pay grade. My wife understood that I didn’t watch basketball baseball or hockey but that the Chicago Bears were my thing. She learned the sport and became just as big of a fan of me on Sundays. She didn’t follow the league like me But every Sunday she was right next to me watching the Bears. It was A family thing. Of course it’s not the end of the world. Of course we’ll find something else to do.

listened to fake conservatives on radio this morning panning about how it wasn't bad and they watched and just muted. They dont get it, you cannot say you dont support the protests then watch the game giving the Felons league money and ratings. Grew up in Socal. Rams left when I was 2 years old so I only cared about baseball. I was excited when the Rams moved back though and was excited about the architecture of the new stadium. But they ruined it. Oh well. Don't care!

Went to Bdubs last night to have a beer with my friends who were watching the game. Was really pathetic to see. Commercials that were 100% about wearing your mask. Biden commercials, and constant netflix commercials. Was really eye opening.

I wasn’t a rabid fan, but I did spend most Sundays watching football. Used to be a thing for me, food, beer, football.
Well I gave up the football, gave up the beer and now my sundays are much nicer. I spend time with my family.

I’m in and won’t be watching one second of the NFL. 30+ years of watching my hometown’s team every Sunday is over. It feels cathartic actually.
