I suspect him calling that latter part out is what really happened.
The actual incident used that got him banned from Twitter specifically was some comment to the black star of the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot. But all this stuff was happening around the same time and Milo was everywhere on all social media, he's been relegated these days.
