BLM members would've tried to see if there were any ATMs they could grab money from, any nearby Nike stores they can get free shoes from, and any duane reades they could get drugs from.

My mom is a now retired NYPD SGT. Unfortunately it was MOS (FD, NYPD) that were trying to break into the safes below the buildings and in the mall. She was sent down there to be on clean up and protect those areas.

Not a popular image to have from our first responders, but the good outweighs the bad

Gabriels_Horn -4 points ago +2 / -6

Make sure your mom gets a copy of this report about what really happened. Great research. Please share with survivors who have a right to know how Dick Cheney murdered their loved ones. https://aim4truth.org/2020/09/11/treason-who-terrorized-americans-and-the-world-on-9-11-2/

Man, I really want to watch the videos from that day. But every time I have watched it in the past few years, I have started crying and getting really heavy hearted. I remember the exact place I was at that day.

I still will watch the videos tomorrow because I need to go through this.

Literally watched it all happen morning of. My dad was on the job and didn't know what was going on. His most vivid memory was the muslims in brooklyn fucking cheering and celebrating in the streets while the brooklyn north taskforce was moving to secure the brooklyn bridge.

My mom was OTJ as well, last day of her vacation. I was at work at 47th and 3rd and i remember her calling me after the 2nd plane. Never in my life had i heard that level of urgency and command in her voice. She told me to leave now, head to my grandparents uptown. She got my brother and sister safely there. She had to go to work and i was scared for her. By the grace of god she was ok.

7
Butcher_bear 7 points ago +7 / -0

I remember how there were reports of bombs planted on the George Washington bridge. And they had arrested a few unidentified people for it. And then I never heard anything else about it.

3
Truglow 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thx for that. President Trump is being interviewed at the 1:52 mark. I never heard these comments before.

2
MAGATRAIN2k20 2 points ago +2 / -0

8
PsychoMode 8 points ago +9 / -1

I suspect those of us who watched it unfold have some persistent low level PTSD from it. I have the same reaction you do.

8
Wholelottarosie1776 8 points ago +8 / -0

Everytime a plane flies over manhattan i hold my breath and look with suspicion.

Crystal blue mornings always get me too. It was such a BEAUTIFUL morning.

7
MegoThor 7 points ago +7 / -0

It still makes my blood boil.

5
cortosis_turkey 5 points ago +5 / -0

I absolutely do. I was 11, watched it all on TV before I went to school, which was basically a wasted school day because everyone was too shocked to really function properly. Low flying aircraft still set off a bit of a panic reflex.

8
Wtf_socialismreally 8 points ago +8 / -0

I also remember the exact moment when this happened, and I was a young child.

9
xxnamexx530 9 points ago +9 / -0

I remember EXACTLY where i was, and what i was doing at the time.(in the bedroom i shared with a sibling, watching cartoons, when the channel cut to live reporting, in time for us to see the second plane impact) i was 6

3
ADAM_SCHITT 3 points ago +3 / -0

I was in fucking 7th grade and never even heard about it until I got on the bus and talked to my brother. Fuck my shitty school and teachers.

2

That's really weird. I was in second or third grade in art class and the school went into lockdown and our teacher put it on.

Wholelottarosie1776 6 points ago +6 / -0

I feel you man. Today is the first time in 18 years im watching videos. I remember everything like it was yesterday, and any blue sky morning in September gets me.

Its important to feel these feelings so we never forget. That was a terrible time in our country and especially in NYC, BUT WE GOT THROUGH IT TOGETHER! Race, religion, gender didnt matter. We were americans. Americans that came together and helped, mourned, laughed, cried, healed... together.

It will always hurt, hell i cant ride my bike by ground zero without feeling sadness. It sucks to be going through cancer treatment in the city and see the FDNY guys coming in for their treatment.once strong men that are dying because they sacrificed for strangers.

Its a heavy day man, feel the heavyness and know that tomorrow is a new day. America is resilient❤️🇺🇲

4
KarpLykov 4 points ago +4 / -0

ReallY race didn’t matter that much then. The Obiden years changed that. Race relations are a lot worse now.

4
Wholelottarosie1776 4 points ago +4 / -0

Thats what i tell people. Race didnt matter. We were all americans coming together to help and go through this tragedy together.

It makes my blood boil that people claim america is racist. These marxist have pushed their lies to create division that wasnt there.

Watching the name reading now and they keep showing Cuomo, Biden and Schumer at the memorial. FUCK THOSE ANTI AMERICAN SNAKES

It's sickening seeing corporations Pander to BLM. They run ads praising amd aligning themselves with BLM while BLM is on the streets committing domestic terrorism, theft, assault and Murder while shouting Black Lives Matter!

I'm never buying anything again from any company that aligns themselves with BLM. Adidas for one, features BLM on their website and there are many others.

The NFL's return was a bust thanks to woke commentary and advertising, which tells you they are just like the China-owned NBA. If America falls the world falls. The only thing that has brought freedom to the world by large is the USA holding a big sword over every other country's neck. Without the #1 superpower that is for complete equality under the law, the world would fall back into a communist dark age.

STOP the anti American bullshit!

Especially when you were digging through rubble to find your co-workers in a lot of cases. Those were very, very sad times when America came together as one Nation.

Fast-forward 19 years later and the left it trying to cancel Remembrance ceremonies. Pathetic.

8
Nellie_the_Beaut 8 points ago +8 / -0

This reminds me of all the search and rescue dogs that were flown in from all over the country and worked night and day with their handlers sniffing out survivors, and then bodies. All the heartbreaking photos of these sweet faced labs and shepherds with their exhausted, disheartened handlers, both of them covered in ash and dirt. I saw a video of the funeral walk of the last remaining dog, a yellow lab named Bailey, about two years ago and bawled like a baby. It just brought back so many sad memories of that day and the months after.

12
ElectricChad 12 points ago +12 / -0

Makes me sick how today is compared to then. Everyone came together, there were flags everywhere, no one gave a shit about black or white. Unity what a concept.

15
Uzaka123 15 points ago +15 / -0

I stand by my belief that race relations were going in a great direction until Obama came to power. A combination of him, and everyone in the world becoming a fucking journalist over night via smart phones and the internet absolutely ruined our society.

4
BIDENSACPADDICT 4 points ago +4 / -0

It was intentional. The democrats went all in on divisive racial rhetoric and Obama was just one symptom of that.

There is a story about a woman NYPD officer running in and out guiding people until she ran in and didn’t come back out. Typing this story brings tears to my eyes man. She was given an award, the same award was given to Bruce Jenner after he came out. The family was upset about that because their Wife/mom died saving lives and Jenner got the same award that the family returned it back.

I still remember this day vividly. I came home. Dad was home watching the news coverage and I knew, in my soul, that this was a real and horrific event.

I was 12 and I'm from Sweden. And even halfway around the world this impacted me.

Make sure to fucking MAGA this election as well. I truly think the West will deteriorate unless Trump wins.

Man. That was a different time. America was a proud, strong, united nation. Maybe the seeds of our destruction had been planted, but they hadn't really come into bloom until after 9/11. Bush and Obama were unmitigated disasters.

-1

I honestly don’t know how those police, paramedics and firemen ran into those buildings.

That’s true bravery.

7
Seeker_of_Firecrotch 7 points ago +7 / -0

There was a photo I’ve been trying to find again that showed a firefighter, maybe late 20’s, in a tower stairwell hauling his ton of gear, cheeks red from exertion. Passing people running down. As he went up. Up. I will never forget him ever.

6
DarkoPolo 6 points ago +6 / -0

I’m a firefighter, and I can’t imagine the fucking courage those men and women had (FDNY, police, EMT’s, everyone). It seemed like a complete shelving of the normal risk/benefit analysis that is used on the fireground to accomplish a goal and minimize risk to self and crew, bc these were not normal circumstances to say the least.

I mean, you do what you have to do to get the job done. But at some point they had to know they weren’t going to make it, and they kept going anyway to do what they could to help. It just makes me cry, man. But also feel so proud of them.

Sorry for the long post, I’m not even from NY never been there, but as others have said this is a day that should unite us all as Americans. RIP to our heroes and every American who lost their life, we won’t forget you.

HOLY SH1T, I FOUND HIM! I have looked many times, something told me to try today and the face I remembered came right up. EVERYONE LOOK AT HIM: FDNY 28 -12898 HERO

I think you helped!

EDIT: He made it out!!

1
Seeker_of_Firecrotch 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks for being a firefighter.

That kid’s face will never leave me, and I well-up too just thinking about him and his courage. Like you mentioned, no one said “it’s lost”; just there’s fire up there so up we go.

Gotta stop, I‘m at work and my eyes look like I’ve been drinkin’! Stay safe!

So glad the pictures show what happened that fateful day and not the shrine, ground zero, that memorializes the attackers.

Islamics love both the pictures of the towers going down and the devastation as well as the black mecca marble, minaret, and mosques nearby at ground zero with the call to prayer heard daily.

I get sick thinking of their celebrations of this event, the lives of soldiers who fought in the ME, every act of terror around the world, and every Christian killed by their hand.

Islam remains the enemy and they are within. EVERY person involved with the Trump coup is Islamic oriented or converted.

911 was an inside job. The real perpetrators of this crime still walk free just like the traitors that tried to overthrow President Trump. All the same treasonous fucks.

4
PAfem4Trump 4 points ago +4 / -0

Remember Occupy Wall Street right across from ground zero?

Remember the mosque at ground zero debate and then the opening?

They were happening at the same time............2011.

The mosque is up and running, Occupy became BLM, ground zero became a tribute to the conquering killer martyrs instead of those who were killed.

3
RogueLeaderX 3 points ago +3 / -0

BLM are scum. Driver by lies! Nothing more! They are reviled in the law enforcement community.

I remember this day well. I was in English class when it happened. I had just bought a cellphone and my buddy texted me, turn on the TV in your class to whatever channel the news was then. It was a flex hour class early in the morning, so the teacher wasn't real opposed to me turning it on. When we turned on the TV, the first tower had been hit, the second tower hadn't yet. They went to a commercial break and when they came back it had been hit. The showed some footage of the plane crashing into it.

The school made an announcement that it was going on lock down and ordered everyone to follow the fire drill rules. We all stood outside for several hours, until we just went home. Me and several friends ended up at my house and we watched the footage all afternoon.

In the week or two after, I remember a "liberal" associate of mine snarking about policemen: "it was really the firemen that are the heroes; the cops didn't do shit". I really did start thinking quite a bit less of them after that -- it was so unnecessarily mean-spirited and gratuitous. 9/11 really was the beginning of the point we find ourselves at now with regards to ugly anti-Americanism: the weeks after really did start to separate the wheat from the chaff -- sometimes if very surprising ways.
