Saw this on the fake news last night. They said Oregon has had 3 times the number of wild fires in the last month than in all of 2019 or any other average year. Then the next statement was how this is all due to climate change. 🙄

Funny how the atmosphere actually gets colder in your area when an abundance of C02 is in the air due to fires. Also note that no state outside of Idaho feels any effects of these fires. Both of these statements disprove global warming due to too much C02 being in the atmosphere. For some reason all of these "science lovers" don't understand that compounds break down in the atmopshere as they rise.

True, the sun heats up the atmosphere during the day, and the earths core heats up the atmosphere during the night with infrared heat. A greenhouse has water vapor that cools the greenhouse and prevents overheating while creating condensation. A desert has very little water molecules and Co2 in the its atmosphere to reflect the sun, which is why its much hotter than tropical climates.

CO2’s temp trapping properties work both ways. It is equally trapping heating from the ground to the atmosphere and deflecting heat from the CO2 to space. As heat rises moisture increases in the air which also deflects heat having a balancing effect. The mechanism of moisture is purposely discounted to “predict” temperature trends. It’s why predictions are so wrong all the time. They need CO2 to be the culprit but it simply doesn’t have the warming effect they need.

You are correct but C02 is another compound in the sky that reflects the suns gamma rays (weak yes, but still some rays go back to space). All compounds reflect the sun to some degree. A desert climate has very little compounds in the air which means the sun heats that part of the atmosphere more than other areas. A tropical climate has water vapor and C02, among others, that creates condensation that actually cools the atmosphere. The earths entire climate would only get hotter if the earth was traveling closer to the sun than normal. It very well could be given everything (generally) in science and space is a cycle.
A single common volcano eruption produces more Carbon emissions than humans do in several years and the planet cycles through it no problem at all.
Climate change is as much a science as holistic medicine or crystal healing. Anyone that uses the phrase "settled science", especially when the actual facts don't support the conclusion they say is settled, can't say they are doing actual science.
They say climate change is a huge deal and claim to "believe science" but won't even consider nuclear power (whose waste can be recycled). Instead they want solar power, which involves mining rare elements and results in toxic waste.
