He was Trump’s first choice but it was made clear that Rudy would not get confirmed so it went to Sessions. This was another fuck-you move by Paul Ryan. Helping to block Rudy and blocking funding for the border wall make Ryan the most effective democrat operative of the past four years.
Thats so fucked up. There should be a law that somehow could straighten out such a failure.
Swamp needs draining. The deep state is one big uni party. Romney and McCain were the two most powerful republicans in the uni-party. That’s why they are the two candidates put up against Obama. Both were plants who were there to make sure he won and had a majority so he could push his globalist agenda. Romney ran an entire campaign that never even attacked the gawd awful first term record of the incumbent opponent. That is ridiculous.
There were several powerful Republicans who refused to get behind Rudy or any of Trump’s other preferred pics. The moves that happen in DC are often behind the scenes vote wrangling. Look at what Pelosi does each time Susan Collins is a swing vote. For Trump to push through a strong AG he needed the republican leaders on board.
He did NOT Need the guy controlling the budget Bill (Ryan) trying to lobby against the AG nominee. Remember; this is during the time that every news outlet is trying to portray the transition as a chaotic shit show and leaks were happening left and right and he needed an AG in place. If Ryan and McConnell and Graham were all campaigning against Rudy it just adds to the chaos.
Sessions was pushed on Trump and it was Trump trying to work with the establishment that caused it. McCain, Romney, Ryan, the deep state shills all fought against Rudy and Flynn because those two were going to audit the deep state.
