The people in the hills set shotgun tripwire traps for firefighters coming to save their property. You dont this think they'd do it for people they despise? The only reason a couple of those counties are blue is because they contain universities that import votes from LA
And they'll need to is what I am saying - if the commies are willing to burn down territory they think is theirs, you think they won't set fire to 'a countryside full of racist Nazis' that separates out into its own state?
I wouldn't doubt if that's part of the impetus for the fires right now - it costs about twenty bucks and a set of balls to create high levels of destruction, chaos, and distraction by setting big fires, and double bonus because you're doing it in the back yards of those locally most likely to oppose you. Target softening? Sounds reasonable to me.
