Seriously. I make decent money, so does my wife. We're around 30. In a LCOL area we make about 110k summed. Cheap house at around 1k a month, no student loan debt. Even cut back to one car lately. We don't drink or smoke. No expensive hobbies. Car is a basic Equinox, nothing expensive there. Health insurance is shit but cheap.
Yesterday we ran some numbers about moving to a more expensive house in the country. Terrible results.
How are we supposed to be able to afford kids? If we stay where we are we're going to have to send our kids to private schools, the ones in our area are bad, even on the scale of American public schools. We don't really buy that many cool things for ourselves, how are we supposed to have the budget to get a kid a proper upbringing?
Meanwhile I'm paying for a bunch of local morons who ride around on mobility scooters in Sam's club because they're too stupid to avoid becoming disgustingly fat and lazy and I pay for their food, their healthcare, their phone and the half dozen kids they shit out. Then someday when one of those crackhead kids comes bouncing through my front window to steal my TV I'm going to be bankrupted by lawsuits if I light them up because my retard DA thinks we need "racial justice" generated by turning a blind eye to criminals.
A long rant but basically how the fuck can I afford kids? And separately, we're one of the good ones. In my department full of retarded millennials at work none of them have kids, none of them are having kids. Just the next department up where they make double the money, they're having kids :)
It sounds crazy to say but is much more fiscally reasonable to go to one job with kids. Daycare is expensive and sets children up with a terrible emotional foundation. Homeschooling is free. So you’ve gotta make a mortgage, car and food on one salary. None of that second salary goes to taxes and supporting those on the motor scooters that way. Little babies don’t cost anything themselves. You don’t need all the gear. Breastfeeding is healthier and costs nothing.
I’m glad to hear you are not black pilled and I hope you are able to make it work out.

step 1 find a $500,000 house that only costs $40,000 because its in the middle of nowhere
step 2 put wife n kids there
step 3 get a job that lets you send home 90% of your paycheck, like trucking
step 4 have tons of cash and cheap expenses because of 1-3, retire early and have 20 grandkids
