Just realized American whites are like mother birds forced to nurture young cowbirds. We focus so much on helping ALL walks of life, that we don't realize our own kind is disproportionately lower than everyone else whose numbers are doing just fine. Much in the way the cowbird dumps their egg on an unsuspecting nest, pushing other eggs out, letting the hosts mother bird spend valuable resources raising that one despite it growing much, much larger than the mother- letting her actual young starve in the process. If we would focus on getting our own numbers up, and let others take care of their own, maybe we won't go extinct.
