The nfl does indeed need to fail...but it will not. They generate enough corporate sponsorship revenue to see them through any ticket sales drops.

And sadly, as the picture shows, not that many people are dropping their sports addiction. This is something that really needs to be researched and brought to the light. Sports addiction is a real thing. And the sports leagues all know this...why do you think they push the SJW agenda without worrying about the consequences? They KNOW whatever hurt they feel will be short term. The leagues aren’t stupid...they have people that monitor the trends and political environments and know whether or not they will really see any major financial losses.

Kansas City has been a rabid football town for decades. Also, they are the defending champs. Not surprising to see the faithful showing up even with the current circumstances. I didn't watch last night but I've heard there was lots of booing for the one idiot that kneeled during the anthem.

We also have to remember that are large portion of fans are still dems. The NFL is huge and it isn't going to poof overnight as much as we hope to meme that into reality.

I'm around KC and didn't even know there was a game until someone asked about it.

Years ago when the Cardinals left St Louis, I tried to get some Chiefs tickets but they were sold out an entire season in advance. I can only imagine how hard it was to get a ticket after they won the Super Bowl. Before Covid, anyway.

The real sports addicts are sad AF. I've seen them before, they'll make any excuse for their favorite player or team, basically brown nose the living daylights out of them.

We need to point out the uncomfortable truths to these (fanatics)people. Make them own what they support.

3% of Americans fought in the revolution. It's always been this way, the Romans didn't coin the term bread and circuses on accident.

People just want an easy, enjoyable life. A small handful are willing to give that up to achieve something greater.

And some small percentage fought for the redcoats as well. The NFL isn't going to disappear or change overnight. Keep up the boycotts and good memes though :-)

Let’s just call it what it is...worship. People worship sports.
