Osama bin Laden wrote an open letter to America "explaining" why he attacked us. The first part of the letter was the usable anti-American nonsense criticizing us for our foreign policy.

However, the second part of the letter was the real intent. He called on America to turn to Islam. The attacks of 9/11 were not an isolated event. It was not random. It was a part of a coordinated effort against the West. The radical Islamists had always been at war against the West. The attacks of 9/11 was supposed to accelerate that war and to bring them closer to their main objective… Their version of Islam dominating the whole world.

I've seen some videos of their sermons, and their mosques. Not exactly like what you would expect in a church or in a synagogue. There are some videos of them talking about how they would wage war and eventually dominate the world. One guy said that "they ruled the world before and they would rule it again" followed by "we will conquer Europe and both Americas".

Moammar Qaddafi was reported to have said that Europe would be conquered "without the sword" via demographics/immigration. One of the former presidents of Iran talked about Islam "conquering the mountaintops of the world". See how they look at the Israel/Palestine argument. They consider all of Israel as "occupied territory". The consider all of Israel as "Palestine".

They are still at war with us. We get complacent in our own future's peril.

Exactly!

Complacency.

As if commies and jihadists would just give up after hundreds of years.
