Nice. I wish I knew my Polish tree. Left - za chlebem, so all data lost

Me too, Pede. Oral history only through those who made it to the USA early. Everyone in Poland killed. All records burned with the churches that held them.

Obligatory. Modern reenactment of how epic that charge was:

Poland's winged hussars not only turned back the Ottoman Janissaries at the gates of Vienna, Poland's armies under Marshal Jozef Pilsudski and General Smigly-Ridz defeated Soviet armies massed outside Warsaw in "The Miracel on the Vistula." Of course, this is not taught in Western Universities.

Sobieski's greatest success came in 1683, with his victory at the Battle of Vienna, in joint command of Polish and German troops, against the invading Ottoman Turks under Kara Mustafa.[26][31] Upon reaching Vienna on 12 September, with the Ottoman army close to breaching the walls, Sobieski ordered a full attack. In the early morning, the united army of about 65,000[32]โ€“76,000[31] men (including 22,000,[32]-27,000 Poles[26]) attacked a Turkish force of about 143,000[32][31] men. At about 5 pm, after observing the infantry battle from the Kahlenberg hilltop, Sobieski led the Polish husaria cavalry along with Austrians and Germans in a massive charge down the hillside. Soon, the Ottoman battle line was broken and the Ottoman forces scattered in disarray.[33] At 5:30 pm, Sobieski entered the deserted tent of Kara Mustafa and the Battle of Vienna ended.[29][31]

Love Sataton. Most of their songs sound the same, but it doesn't even matter because they are so fun

My comment would have more credibility if I had written the band name correctly

This sounds like Disturbed, but at least the lyrics are good.
