I worked at WTC building 2, 80th floor on 9/11. After building 1 got hit, I was on the 50th floor not knowing I was running for my life, then my building got hit. It was surreal.
My CEO and four colleagues died that day when the plane ripped through our office floor while two others had life changing injuries. I am still amazed at the number of people that were able to escape before the collapse. I grieve for my friends, colleagues and all who were lost that day.
I too, am amazed so many escaped. The buildings stood long enough to help make this possible, considering they were only designed to absorb the impact of a 707, a much smaller older jetliner.
Thanks for sharing your story, people need to hear it.
I
I believe WTC building 1 & WTC building 2 were each hit by a plane. (WTC building 7 is definitely odd though)
Now... The Pentagon is a COMPLETELY different story.
I DO NOT believe a plane hit the Pentagon. Still to this day 19 years later, the most highly secure and most highly surveilled building in all of America(The Pentagon)... Has only produced us with 1 video clip of the the "attack." That video clip came from a surveillance system camera that was apparently only recording at 2 fps.
If you still to this day believe that the most highly secure and most highly surveilled building in ALL of America(maybe even world) could only find security cam footage from 1 camera that was recording at 2 fps...well then hell idk what to tell you!
If I'm not mistaken there were other angles and even store security camera footage that caught the plane flying by super low and all of that was confiscated and has never seen the light of day.
