I am going to give the media a one time pass on this. These images are horrific and nightmare inducing, especially when you try to put yourself in the shoes of these people. They should never be forgot, even though the names of the people in these photos were never published.
Great comment and good on your brother. One day you l’d like to do the same with my kids. I’d like to find a raw video that covers it “real time” but is an hour long or so. I don’t really care for dramatic editing of memorial videos bc id rather it be real, raw, and allow people to form their own opinions. Not drive a narrative even if I agree with it if that makes sense.
Okay you win, I agree. Great comment and story. The people jumping is so real for me. I remember one visual from the day that i have never seen replayed since. It showed some people in some nearby building watching. There was this one woman that had her hands over her mouth. And when she saw the people falling she started running in place, feet moving so fast. Like she was trying to run away from what she was seeing. That image in my head more than any other stays with me.
