I work in law enforcement in a Major US city and have been hearing reports that charges are going to be dropped today against several of the officers in the George Floyd case. I’m hearing that people in Minnesota are being told to board their shit up and get out. I haven’t been able to find any leaks or reports about this anywhere, so I’m wondering what other folks are hearing.
Of course they would pick the day that immortalized LEOs as heroes as the day to try to spark a war.
I heard from a local reporter the judge has stated they will not consider dismissal today and said not to read into it.
This^
If you check the motion schedule, the judge will decide motion to dismiss "on the briefings". The prosecution has yet to submit a reply brief to the motion to dismiss; they judge can't rule on briefings that he doesn't have.
I don't think they ever intended on having a trial. They got what they needed. Angry black voters. They don't give a shit about George Kirby.
Doesn’t stop Judge Sullivan
The judge already said there would be no decision made today on dismissing the case
The shout "No justice, no peace". But they mean "No tyranny, no peace".
I missed the first “y” in tyranny, but it still made perfect sense.
I just hear a roar from an ignorant mob that sounds like "GIBS"
From the few posts I saw earlier on here, the judge said they were not looking at dropping charges.
Keith Ellison is an Antifa Terrorist, so today makes sense.
Heard the same from a buddy in Sioux Falls PD
Stay strong, brother, from an East Coast LEO.
It's possible that word can get out, without it being massively publicized. If I owned a business there (i'd be gone already) I would want a hint of a heads up, so that I don't lose everything again. Chances of insurance paying (again) is slim
I believe that if the Mayor/Governor or whoever will be notified and National Guard brought in before hand.
You’d think Dem politicians & celebrities would be eager to defuse the situation by explaining the truth to the excitable and confused community.
They are trying to have them tried together onsite as of separately.
Whoa...
The entire point of charging them when they are obviously innocent of anything is to rile up the savages when the charges are eventually rightfully dropped.
Btw, stop standing down and letting cities burn.
Thanks for the insider info tho
They should just agree to not do this until after the election
And if the charges aren't dropped, it's our turn to go burn shit down. In Minecraft, obviously.
