And the women; I remember one of the flight attendants (Sandy Bradshaw) telling her husband she was preparing pitchers of boiling water to throw at the hijackers during the counterattack. Her last words to her husband were: “Everyone’s running to first class. I’ve got to go. Bye.”
Worked at the same software company that I did. I met him when I travelled in for an important client meeting and found that somehow he and I had inexplicably been able to book the same conference room and it was the only one left. We went back and forth with each other, both demanding rights to the conference room. Within a couple of minutes we both cooled off and the next thing you know we were both trying to figure out a plan B, to give the other the conference room. I liked him right away!
