I called Nike sales the other day and asked them if they could confirm their clothing isn't made by slaves. They weren't happy and gave me the run-around. I like making people that work for these companies really uncomfortable and force them to take an introspective look into what they enable.
You know you can do it online, or at least you should be able to. I cancelled mine through the website a couple weeks ago when the movie poster was first circulating.
If you can't get through directly, you should be able to put through a stop payment on your credit card. They'll probably want to hear that you made the effort to cancel with Netflix, but if you can't you won't be the only one.
Don't do that, then you are breaching the agreement. Go to netflix.com on a computer, in the top right click on help center. At the bottom right there is a hotlink to "cancel account" It takes 20 seconds and there is a survey right after you unsubscribe. If they just don't get a payment they might think you're just broke.
