I am noticing a trend that a lot of people on here think they are in the special/unique circumstance that warrants them to wear a mask when they a) do not believe it will protect them, b) don't want to wear it and c) know they should not be forced to wear one.
Stop with that dribble and just own up to it - you are of the stock that would have been a torie.
But wait you say - "this is different because its really not that big of a deal and because.... " - and again you are off to the races to protect your growing oppressor. You make the point too easy.
When some chumps accross the ocean raised the tax on tea in the colonies by the modern day equavilent of 30 cents per pound (modern day price is somewhere around 15 dollars so ~2% of its value) what happened? Boston refused to let the tea traders dock and those that did got to watch $1.7 million of their leafs contribute to the most American cup of tea ever made.
In contrast - how many of you have PAID 30 cents for a muzzle to conform to your masters?
If you don't stand up now when all that will happen is some mean words being said to you or being kicked out of a store (both extremely rare) you won't do anything at any point.
Here is a challenge for you who still wear a mask: put it in your pocket. Maybe at first you just keep forgetting about it in your pocket. See how many times you go out before even being asked. Then you will realize you are scared of a boogey man.
Do you wear it when you go into stores or anywhere else?
same here...wear one at my job in the hospital and no where else....unless i need one to vote
Texan here. To enter any business, you HAVE to wear one or they will kick you out per our (insert expletive here) Governor's orders.
Business can (and have) been fined for allowing non-masked people in due to those orders. They will outright kick you out (which is their legal prerogative as a business) for not wearing one.
So, rock and a hard place time. Either wear a mask to go grocery shopping, or starve to death.
Everything is not black and white as it seems on this topic.
How many times have you personally been kicked out?
If arms were made illegal you are going to be the first to turn yours in yes?
In the example given do you think the brits made the tea tax optional? Or do you think they used phrases like "you HAVE to pay it"?.
You are living through things personally that you most likely would've scoffed at in history books saying "Why would they put up with that? America didn't" or "Looks how Americans stood up, hell yeah!" and can't fathom that it doesn't always feel clear cut like a Disney movie when you are going through it. Do you think standing up for your rights would be conveinent?
Three times.
Nice strawman argument ya got there.
Look, I know you are new here and all (43 minute old account), but your first post kinda sucked.
It was a question, not a strawman. Are you afraid to answer?
If we're mandated to breathe oxygen, are you going to be the first to hold your breath yes?
See, it's still a strawman even if it's posed as a question (with a hypothetical answer included for good effect). Go be a retard somewhere else.
No that isn't a strawman - you asked a question. My answer is no. Your question doesn't particularly make sense as I am not the one blindly following mandates but you're welcome to give it another go if you want to try again.
