I seriously think the only people watching them anymore are restaurants. I can't imagine the mindset of anyone who can sit there and be preached at for 3 hours when they're supposed to be relaxing and enjoying a recreational activity.
I thought MLB was going to be my line in the sand. Loved the MLB for decades going back to my early childhood. Baseball meant everything for me as a kid. So I thought if the SJWs nonsense spilled out from their mouths I might just put up with it for the sake of enjoying my favorite pastime.
Couldn't do it. I watched maybe a week of games this season but the pandering was too much. Then when I thought about how these millionaire athletes jipped their fans out of a full season and a full experience this year just so they could get paid and because they were afraid of a virus that barely even affects the young and the healthy, it just made me angrier. Needless to say I haven't turned on any sporting event in more than a month. And I'm currently stuck in a hotel with limited entertainment options so that's saying a lot, when I wont even put it on as background noise.
Guys and Gals, get a life. Live your life not modeled after some millionaire sport roided up dude. Their PR firm works to make them more "profitable" to marketing and that is all there is to it. Money talks, every thing else can walk. You are your best HERO, be the person YOU want to be. It is not if or whether you fail but what you do after that that sets you apart.
