When I was in OSUT, one of my DS was in OSUT with Pat and Kevin. Near the end of the cycle he showed us a few pics of them. Apparently all the stories about Pat being an awesome guy were true. Didn’t let his fame get to his head.
Every Ranger I’ve met who knew Pat/knows his brother Kevin spoke praise of both of them as well. Guy was a true hero.
Doesn't matter. I'm not calling him a hero, just saying that he gave up a career in the NFL to serve. The man could have fallen down the stairs, he still made the decision to join something far more dangerous than the pussies in the NFL.

I heard he was fucking around and his buddy accidentally shot him dead. I'm not happy he fucked up and died but I don't consider that heroic.
