Some people are spreading fake rumors or making things up but that doesnt mean leftist arsonists aren't responsible. The fbi is trying to prevent hysteria and vigilante retribution and will lie if necessary to achieve that.
Hey, thanks for the reply. So, the original post that I responded to was about Portland FBI saying that so far they have no evidence that Oregon fires have been set by Antifa. You gave 7 links; #1 is Washington, #2 is Washington, #5 is CA, #6 is WA. So, #3-- a man arrested in Eugene. Ok, likely arson, but is he Antifa? No mention of that. #4. Again, this is factual stuff but no mention of a connection to Antifa. #7, the Alameda fire. Suspected to be arson. No mention by police of an Antifa connection.
So there is factual evidence that some fires set in Oregon were arson. But I have yet to see that these individuals were connected either to each other, or to Antifa. I am not saying that they are not, only that no one has presented evidence that they are.
Earlier in the day there was a rumor flying that Douglas County had arrested 6 Antifa setting fires. My point being that this is a tense enough situation already (I live in Oregon close to a fire). Information is welcome, but take a moment to check if it is fact based or just “I heard on twit that someone’s cousin who is in the Fire Department saw with his own eyes Antifa setting off fireworks.”
