Womp womp. I say Van Assdial knew he was about to get blown out so he withdrew early. Sad that Reuters feels the need to make the story about "muh dangerous supporter of conspiracy theory QAnon," but spends zero words looking into why he actually dropped out.

You can't have it both ways. Either this guy is a loser and/or a coward or there is something there as to why he is stepping down. Because they sure spent a lot of time making his opponent and the GA Republicans sound nefarious. But sure, he has "personal reasons" so let's just quote that directly with no follow up.
