Bush started unnecessary wars and destabilized the Middle East but overall maintained America’s position of strength. Obama totally fucked the Middle East and weakened America’s foreign policy with his apology tour. Obama is almost directly the reason China is the way it is today. He was way worse than Bush but the media covered for him.
Bush didn't destabilize the Middle East. The Middle East had been destabilized and will remain destabilized forever as long as there are countries where Sunnis and Shiites are within the same border or don't co-exist peacefully. The only reason Iraq was remotely stable under Saddam was because he was so ruthless towards the Shiites, and obviously that isn't stable long-term. Iraq is mostly Shiite, but under Saddam, who was Sunni, they ran the Government and treated Shiites brutally. Now, since the country is mostly Shiite, the Shiites win all the Democratic elections and now the Sunnis get completely screwed. The religious dichotomy is what creates the most conflict in the Middle East.
The Middle East was turned into a powder keg after the fall of the Turkish Empire and WWI when the Allied powers divided up and drew the boarders for these new countries.
Bush ignored the 9/11 attack intelligence because he knew it would allow him to start a war in Iraq. He had unfinished business there from his father in the Gulf War, wanted to secure oil, and wanted to feed the military industrial complex money. That's American Imperialism type stuff, but the Middle East was a disaster before the Iraq War.
This guy here gets it. Middle East is a powder keg because of the artificial lines the Allied powers drew with no regard to ethnic or ideological background of the inhabitants of Middle East
Obama was objectively worse, but I still dislike Bush more. One reason is because I actually voted for Bush, so there's that sense of betrayal.
Also, when Bush was elected we were still a normal country. Cold war was over. There was a general consensus for a limited government. All the problems we are seeing now, like Marxism taught in schools, could have been avoided. These were well known problems even back then. He could have worked behind the scenes for the right in the way that Obama did for the left.
Instead, proved the maxim that Republicans are just slow liberals.
He conserved nothing. He legitimized 90% of liberal ideology. Compassionate conservatism taught everyone that there was something fundamentally un-compassionate about us.
You still find Bill Clinton cronies running around the establishment. Obama people are still everywhere. The rare times you see a Bush guy, they are basically Democrats, like Robert Mueller.
I watched Daily show for 10 years. From Bush through to Obama, till the end
It gotten way worse during Obama era. Final straws for me were Sarkeesian episodes for TDS and Colbert. Simply because they came for the gamers - the most docile peope on planet - made me rethink the media
Like for many, Gamergate was the straw that broke the camels back and made people realise the bullshit MSM peddled
True. Good with Jon Stewart for a few years, but basically once it became a hyper partisan it started to suck. You leave a LOT of good material on the table when you only pick on one side.
Bush actually united the country briefly, it took democrats about 30 hours before they started bashing him to divide us again and of course bush got us into the optional Iraq war
No. Not worse than Obama.
Obama was quite a bit worse than Bush. Both sucked huge cocks.

This. Obama was way worse than Bush, it’s not even fucking close.
Look at all you hopeless fucks arguing as if Dubya and Obama weren't just doing exactly as the CIA wanted.
They're both horrible
they were both bohemian grove pedocrats

The Daily Show acronym is quite amusing
First, they came for the gamers...
It sucked once Craig Kilborn (sp?) left.

It was always very partisan
i enjoyed it. It was fun poking fun at conservatives who reminded me of my parents. but then they came for the gamers...
I view that 16 years as the same presidiency. Obama transformed into Bush the moment he took office.
he kept all the bush financial guys
Obama was just a Bush that hated white people and Christians
Bush actually united the country briefly, it took democrats about 30 hours before they started bashing him to divide us again and of course bush got us into the optional Iraq war
