Bush started unnecessary wars and destabilized the Middle East but overall maintained America’s position of strength. Obama totally fucked the Middle East and weakened America’s foreign policy with his apology tour. Obama is almost directly the reason China is the way it is today. He was way worse than Bush but the media covered for him.
Obama was objectively worse, but I still dislike Bush more. One reason is because I actually voted for Bush, so there's that sense of betrayal.
Also, when Bush was elected we were still a normal country. Cold war was over. There was a general consensus for a limited government. All the problems we are seeing now, like Marxism taught in schools, could have been avoided. These were well known problems even back then. He could have worked behind the scenes for the right in the way that Obama did for the left.
Instead, proved the maxim that Republicans are just slow liberals.
He conserved nothing. He legitimized 90% of liberal ideology. Compassionate conservatism taught everyone that there was something fundamentally un-compassionate about us.
You still find Bill Clinton cronies running around the establishment. Obama people are still everywhere. The rare times you see a Bush guy, they are basically Democrats, like Robert Mueller.
