I honestly don’t think people believe in the masks. I see people walk to the door of a store and put the mask on. Walk out the door and immediately take it off. That doesn’t show fear. It shows compliance. People are scared to be called out in public by communists. Or they are “the law is the law” types. If they were scared they’d be calling me out in public but they don’t. The vast majority of people don’t care about the mask. They treat me with respect when I don’t wear one. Crack a joke with me. Make small talk with my 2 year old. They are not scared of the virus. They are scared of the govt and any confrontations that may arise from non compliance. The only time anyone ever said anything to me about a mask was an employee and she was very polite about it. So I asked her why? She fumbled and I started walking out the door and she said “we have masks we can give you”. I said “I don’t wear masks” and left. If people were truly scared of this virus they would be angry at people not wearing masks. People are scared of the law and five in to peer pressure. It’s like openly carrying a gun. People are scared to go against their peers but once you do you will never bow down to these communist bastards
Recently I was visiting with such a friend. Who disagreed with me about it being primarily a politically motivated hoax, not a serious health concern. I pointed out that he was maskless with me so he must not be too worried.
Just look at what people do with them to know the truth. You don't throw a deadly pathogen containing item on your dashboard, or eat a sandwich with it hanging on your chin. Either they are checked out of this horseshit (me) or they are certified idiots(Biden voters).
Fuck masks. We have to wear them in all common areas at work. I have gotten to the point I only wear it around my chin. I'm sick of them. I do the same thing at Walmart and everywhere else that requires them.
It's kind of funny. As long as I have the mask on my chin no one says anything. I used to pull it up if I was close to people, but I stopped doing that a week ago. Apparently everyone knows it's bullshit, and only about compliance.
My boss who is almost 70 is a little paranoid about it. Everyone else who cares is still working from home. We have about 15 people show up daily in an office of 70 people. I am more productive at my desk in my office, so I only work at home 1 day a week. I only do that because I can.
We are supposed to wear it in all common areas. I have it on in these areas, but it is only covering my chin. Not my mouth or nose and no one ever gives me any problems. If I couldn't wear it like that I would probably just work at home.
Believe it or not, people will say something if you don't have a mask on, but won't if you are not wearing it properly.
I think hospitals and nursing homes are completely different and I would have no problem wearing one if I went there. I do feel there is a marginal benefit if someone is sick and coughing it might catch some of it.
Throwing their life away? How about the lives of their children? “Maybe if I cower and look the other way my whole life no one will harm me or mine”
That is not the way of the world. It reminds me of the story of Rainbow Fish that I’ve read my child. About a fish that gets bullied into giving away all his rainbow scales to jealous fish. In the end the rainbow fish is loved and happy. My alternate ending is that the rainbow fish is killed by all the other fish because he has nothing left to give. Seriously, what are the downsides to not wearing a mask? You not going to make friends? You going to lose your job? Just tell them your a faggot and they can’t fire you
it is never going away for these poor pathetic karens. for over 5 months now its permanently ingrained in them. they won't know what to do otherwise.
I don't wear one, never will. throw coffee on me, you get a beat down. but hasn't happened in 3+ months. mostly i get head nods.
be a free person, ditch the mask join the resistance!
I've been going maskless, and everyone has been mostly pretty good about it.
people are too used to just shrugging their shoulders and going along with stuff. it's learned helplessness.

Mass hysteria!
Psh. You saying this guy would have an agenda or is being told what to say? https://i2.wp.com/www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/201282153024_380-1024x759.jpg
Here's an easy way to demonstrate it to your friends who say masks are necessary
(assuming y'all are gathered together not wearing them)
"If you really believed that you'd be wearing one right now"
But if they are in fact wearing one when they come over to see you at your house or vice versa, then it's too late for them
You can get people to come to your house?
Believe it or not

I envy you. Everyone here is a true believer. Kids birthdays, free alcohol, bbq, cigars, study groups . . . nothing will get them out.

I wear em to avoid facial recognition tech, don't really care too much about coronavirus at this point.
Granted, if someone asks me and I don't know their political affiliation I'll just default to "coronavirus"
this will already be used as an example of mass delusion, but at least their is an inciting agent here- the news.
It was a thing we trusted, and old people still do. Was it ever real? Should be looked into.
“The toilet paper thing was a shit test ”...Sad to report that I failed it...wish I had crammed for it

ok. take downvote. cuck.
Yes.
At work, at least they're paying you for it. In the grocery, you're the customer - fuck them. I've been making them bring me food.
grow a set man....
Not saying get fired....i wear a mask at work because i have to....when u are outside of work we need to stand up to this trash
This right here is why you lose. Where do you draw the line?

You’re not making a difference.
The only difference you are making is giving them validation and power
