Think of all the people, all the freedom, all the things we've lost since that day. Things they took from us. Not just the towers, but NYC itself. These days it feels like more people outside NYC care about 9/11 than people inside NYC do.
This is all supposed to be our great empire. From Aroostook Maine to Key West Florida to El Paso TX to San Diego CA to Diomede AK and every corner, crevice, and spot in between. Yet these days, a lot of places in America feel un-American. There have always been outside threats to us, but it seems like there are more people who wish to see our ruin from within than ever before.
9/11 was not the first day our enemies successfully attacked us, and the actual events differ from the official narrative, but it sure as shit shouldn't be forgotten, now or ever.
