The "Friendly fire" incident, imo, is suspicious because all of his personal belongings got burned to ashes, his journal was never found, possibly burned, and he was shot 3 times in the head with .556 rounds... Friendly fire 3 bullets to the head? Definitely fishy.
In the investigation several of the soldiers provided falsehoods. There were witnesses in the report that stated that he had shouted his name and who he was before he got fired on. One soldier said he heard Pat Tillman yell at the top of lungs, with his hands in the air "I'm fucking Pat Tillman! I'm Pat Tillman God Dammit!" immediately before the barrage of gunfire killing him.
