It is not real. Just something that conspiracy theorists talk about. What he announced was that there were 2.3 Trillion dollars worth of mistakes in accounting. Anyone who runs a business understands that auditors always find mistakes. But since the mistakes go both ways, it doesn't add up to 2.3 trillion dollars lost. There isn't even that much money in the budget.
Guys I was told yesterday that a bunch of camel jockeys did this by learning to fly in cessnas. You mean to tell me the government may have lied again. Weird.
Wasn't it eventually discovered that the number was more like 19 trillion?

Seems I heard that the pertinent records for the investigation into the $Trillions were kept in the part of the Pentagon destroyed on 9/11.

I remember this on and off. We never really got a good answer.
A lot of it is just lost in bureaucracy.
I think people get it the wrong way around.
They look at the bigger number.
You know if you can't track a trillion well at all that makes a hole.
Do you know the damage you can inflict with just a few million?
