Now people are running for their lives and desperately trying to evacuate their cattle, horses and livestock while thousands of homes and businesses are reduced to ash. The air quality is rated Hazardous in these areas (current AQI is 380) so many people are fleeing to find breathable air. Authorities report they have 0% containment of the fire after 8 days and that evacuees and others shouldn’t expect to return home (burned down or not) until Oct 15th at the earliest. What are the chances that the date moves out to “sometime after the first week of November.”
Oregon is vote by mail only and I've heard that several post offices in red areas have burnt down.
