Hurricanes are hitting the most hurricane prone area of the world during hurricane season. Also wildfires are popping up during the end of summer where vegetation is the most dry in a region of the country with some of the most vegetation. Sounds like business as usual. Perhaps if wildfires occured in the southeast and hurricanes hit the west coast during the middle of winter we could talk about unusual weather patters.
