I'm not sure what you're trying to point out here, but thanks for proving my point.
The military was tasked with removing the socialist regime that was trying to consolidate power and become a totalitarian dictatorship. The congress expected the military to remove Allende and then politely hand power back.
The military agreed, then (SURPRISE) refused to hand power back to the congress, turned it into a totalitarian dictatorship, and started killing off dissenters, many of whom were the people who instituted the marxism to begin with and voted to bring in the military junta to try to fix it.
So, again, thanks for pointing out that they voted in marxism and ended up with not just one, but two sequential totalitarian dictatorships.
You don't expect a coup and cleaning up of the old order to happen in a year do you? Pinochet stepped down and elections were held once he dealt with whatever was left of Allende's policies and sympathizers. But of course you're still going to ignore that Pinochet peacefully relinquished power because "muh dictator".

17 years later, and only because his attempt to run a sham election backfired. It was supposed to give him another 8 years, but Aylwin's party managed a frankly miraculous ad campaign that allowed them to pull off the impossible.
For fuck's sake, man, Pinochet died while still on trial for hundreds of war crimes. He was not a good person and he shouldn't be your hero. It's like saying Saddam Hussein was a good guy because he killed a bunch of muslims.
See there you go just as I said. Because he took up the mantle of dictator to save his country he's damned no matter what to you. If he won you'd say he cheated and yet despite him losing the election you still call it a failed sham. Also as for "war crimes" the idea of it is nothing more than a smear job. Ever sense their creation after the war they've been used as a political hit against anyone they don't like. While those that actually commit atrocities don't get called out for it at all. Look at Africa and the Middle East, nobody gives a shit about those genocides. But because Pinochet dealt with communist insurgents he's a "war criminal" fucking stupid.
he was put on trial by a Spanish socialist judge with delusions of grandeur with no jurisdiction on Chile but using the globalist The Hague. I do agree with your points though.
