No we don't. By and large, we don't have the issues people that need dating sites do.

41
Italians_Invented_2A 41 points ago +44 / -3

That's harsh. Dating sites are a great way to meet people, it's not a place for people with "issues".

38
GregTheTraceur 38 points ago +38 / -0

My "issue" is having high standards but living in a blue state. I'd use a dating site for pedes if there was one.

I met my husband on a dating site. EHarmony is a fantastic way to screen guys so you don’t end up dating some loser.

4
FreeJack2020 4 points ago +14 / -10

no they're not. Every dating site is a literal scam. The only legit dating site is when you see a cute girl in person and actually have the guts to go say hi.

7

10
FreeJack2020 10 points ago +13 / -3

lol dude. You can waste your time with that shit. It's literally all catfishing homos, obscenely ugly chicks with doctored photos, and camsite bots. The 1 in 100 who are actual decent looking women are usually sluts who aren't worth your time other than looking ok.

5
MyUsername 5 points ago +5 / -0

Met my wife on a dating site. Not tinder though, tinder is gross.

3
FreeJack2020 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm not saying there aren't exceptions. But really the worst part of it is that it gives a shitty fatalistic vibe that totally kills any energy. You don't know who you are talking to, and vice versa. If you just meet a girl in person you are basically skipping this superfluous online bullshit. I don't need it.

15
Ebbie8708 15 points ago +15 / -0

Beg to differ.

I’m short, stocky, look like Gizmo from the Gremlins movie and at 33 y/o, never been married and don’t have kids.

Most men want a beautiful blonde in her 20s. I can’t compete with that with how I look and my self esteem haha

21
Rock_Flag_Eagle 21 points ago +22 / -1

Men are visual creatures. It’s inherent to our nature to be titillated by attractive female features. But there’s a difference between the short term glance of infatuation and the love and devotion a man feels for a partner. Some foolish men do just want a pretty thing for their mantelpiece, but decent men understand the value of a partner who will support them, regardless of her looks. I’m a pretty attractive guy that’s been with some beautiful women, but have also spent a long time with women who were by no means model material. Male standards are NOWHERE near as high as you think they are. All men wanting long, lean blondes is what movies and social media would have you believe and it simply isn’t true. Most men are just happy to get a look or a feel lol. I’ve been with women who I wasn’t that physically attracted to at first, but I fell for them because of their personalities, intellect, and confidence and then grew into deep, physical attraction to them. Don’t let media stereotypes make you think you won’t find a dreamy man who will love you. You have so much more to offer than looks. Project confidence, embrace the quirks, talents, values, and interests that make you you, and I promise you can find a good man. Even on a dating site :)

7
DixMcCoy 7 points ago +7 / -0

Project confidence like our great female leaders:

Sarah Sanders

Kayleigh McEnany

First Lady Melania Trump

Candice Owens

Lauren Southern

... and I'm sure there is a plethora more I am missing! Someone help me out!

14
Bullet3250 14 points ago +14 / -0

The more 'feminine' you are - the more men will look towards you. We can't help it - we may 'see' beauty in centerfolds and movie stars - but that is not going to keep her around long if she is a psycho nut case.... and so many modern women are just like that.

The other 23 hours of the day count for something too.

5

My last girlfriend was a stealth liberal. Went to church, quite religious...but on nearly ever darn social issue she went to the left. Was super "understanding" for abortion, voted for damn Gillum for Governor of Florida, didn't support Kavanaugh, did not support Trump, supported the rioters and poked fun at people calling out their chaos and destruction. Had me turn Rush off once when I had him casually(and fairly low volume) on the radio.

She shied away and hid a lot of it, when we first got together I hadn't been fully red-pilled and we both said we weren't very political. So for a long time it was very much a non-issue.

I of course got significantly red-pilled in the span of about 2.5 years...and over time, here and there I would find more and more odd lefty tendencies she had.

My next girlfriend and my eventual wife will be someone who is a proper conservative woman.

45
HonkNJhonk [S] 45 points ago +46 / -1

So... you threw her out of a helicopter? Mah Man! We’re basically wingmen right now!

41
Create_Greatness 41 points ago +42 / -1

Haha no. I did break up with her though. She is a nice girl, but good lord...deep moral compatibility is super important, and political compatibility is becoming increasingly important for anyone who cares about such things.

26
HonkNJhonk [S] 26 points ago +26 / -0

These are indeed complicated times. I won’t go so far as to offer “advice”, because that shits always lame. What I say is best of luck, and keep the chopper doors open.

21

12
sackofwisdom 12 points ago +13 / -1

political compatibility is becoming increasingly important

The Bible talking about the risks of being unequally yoked comes to mind. But I just don't think it is realistic. Even several girls I went to Bible School with a decade ago were posting black BLM squares on Instagram a couple months ago. Girls are naturally followers, which is why you should develop yourself into a manly leader.

Think of partner dance. They LOVE being led by a competent man.

5
Bubbahax 5 points ago +5 / -0

Unequally yoked mostly means Christians shouldn't marry non-Christians. That leads to spiritual complications.

A lot of women are like this. There aren’t that many of us willing to buck the social trends and actually take a stand, which is what being conservative requires you to do these days

36
Ebbie8708 36 points ago +36 / -0

Oh I’m the asshole of the family for telling all the welfare queens to get a fucking job and that they are terrible human beings for having kids out of wedlock that only leads to more welfare queens that have kids out of wedlock.

2
deleted 2 points ago +3 / -1
3
boomerbutnotOKBoomer 3 points ago +3 / -0

I am willing to take a stand. And I don't make any bones about it. But I'm older and I come from a generation that did speak their mind.

Unfortunately, sometimes I forget and use my outside voice. As in, *"You think Hiden Biden and Heels up Harris are a good choice? ARE YOU INSANE? Do you have any ability to consider long term consequences? Sorry, you say you are Liberal and you condone Elder Abuse and Rising to the Top through Blow Jobs? REALLY?" *

And then I realize everyone is looking at me in the back of the church... kek ... no, not really... but I've said some things pretty loudly. That's when I get the "Ok Boomer" comments. But dammit... we KNOW SHIT!

22
jive-ass-turkey 22 points ago +22 / -0

When I met my wife she was a raging liberal, but she was young too so I didn't rule her out. Over time I could tell that she really hadn't made up her mind about a lot of the issues she said she supported and much of it was "received opinion".

But her faith is what made me realize she was different and the conversations I had with her made me realize she had just never been exposed to an authentic explanation of conservative and classically liberal ideals.

She had been inculcated with these Marxist ideas since she was in elementary school but as soon as she really scrutinized them she realized how she had been lied to and it really opened her eyes.

She is a full-on red pill dispenser on social media now, and in a way that I could never do. She is plugged in to all her Marxist "friends" from school on social media so she has access to them in a way we could only dream. You should see some of the responses she gets. One of her girl "friends" said to stop posting the stuff about Joe Biden being a pedo because "it was making it harder for her to vote for him". I seriously believe she had changed votes this election, based on what I hear from her friends. At lot of their feedback is positive too. A lot more than I ever thought she'd get, that is for sure.

She has lost something like 100 "friends" since the beginning of the year from people removing her. It is her badge of honor. She says she is going for 200 by the election. "Fuck em, thank you" were her actual words when I asked how she felt about it. Couldn't be any more proud of her.

Just keep that in mind, my wife is incredible. If I would've had the same rule as you describe I would've disqualified her, which frankly makes me shudder thinking about, God help me if I had.

But I'm also not saying your rule does not have merit, it absolutely does.

There are just many flavors of liberal and the good women are worth figuring out which kind they are because they might be worth attempting to convert.

That being said, I also think once you're dating someone 26-30+ years old, that rule is a lot more useful.

Your chances of converting someone at that point in their lives are not extremely high.

17
Mrsattorney 17 points ago +18 / -1

26
Create_Greatness 26 points ago +26 / -0

I want a homestead. With pigs, dogs, a couple of goats and chickens. Probably some sheep.

But I can’t imagine raising an animal just to eat it. I’m too emotional for that shit! I still feel guilty as 10 types of fucks for putting my dog down in January 2016. 🥺😭

22
Russianhoneypot 22 points ago +22 / -0

Trust me when you have spent $200 on fence repairs after your $100 pig got out and decimated your vegetable garden with. no. guilt. Visions of pork chops and bacon will start shamelessly floating in your head.

2
Ebbie8708 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually, I would have a pet pig. There’s a video of a person with 3 dogs and a pet pig.

2

There are little breeds and some runts don't grow any bigger than a large dog. The emotional attachment is why you would call over a neighbor or hire an ambulatory butcher in ye olden days. People still do that for legal reasons but it's something to consider. Not everyone is cut out (no pun intended) to thrust the knife in.

Though bacon is the only pork product I will eat. Pigs are my favorite animal, but I am American and we eats bacon, damnit.

1

Pigs are excellent creatures, excellent for cleaning up Liberal mess. XD

Bacon and ribs yumyumyum

9
MakeCaliRedAgain2020 9 points ago +9 / -0

I think chickens are a good way to break into meat raising. I raise both hens for eggs and Cornish crosses for meat. It was definitely rough putting them out and still is to be completely honest. I just had a cow and a pig done too. It’s definitely a blood pumping experience but it can be normalized even for animal lovers like myself. Fresh meat tastes so much better than store bought and the appreciation is something you can’t replicate. I’m just a city boy from San Diego as well so it can definitely be done.

4
Bubbahax 4 points ago +4 / -0

My mom used to kill chickens for the family dinner when she was little. She said she'd just grab them by the neck and spin them around until the head popped off. Not joking.

3
MakeCaliRedAgain2020 3 points ago +3 / -0

Damn, that’s one way. I just cut the arteries when they’re upside down in a cone. I think you get better drainage of blood that way.

4
sackofwisdom 4 points ago +4 / -0

For the animal lovers in this thread, have a nice hard think about all the ones who were just burned alive in the arson fires. Keep in mind that the same ruthlessness can be enacted upon humans.

Are all the helicopter memes today because of the fires in particular? These scumbags and their supporters are losing more and more simp-athizers by the minute.

My girl has awful taste in entertainment and will admit so. She listens to cardi b and watches trashy reality tv but she's red pilled and let's me talk maga to her. Sex is good but knowing I can send her spicy memes from td that will be appreciated and answered in kind is what makes me think she might be the one.

5
HonkNJhonk [S] 5 points ago +6 / -1

If she can listen to Cardi and also enjoy spicy memes she might be the free-thinker we all wish to be.

11
EvensoAmen 11 points ago +11 / -0

Listening to cardi b AND liking spicy memes sounds like cognitive dissonance.

7
HonkNJhonk [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

I was trying to be polite. But yes.

5
Noire 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hey I sometimes feel that way too and give her shit but then I realize being amused by something/someone does not mean you support or condone them. It's something the left absolutely cannot grasp and why they try to play gatekeepers. They can't fathom that a conservative could like listening to the music of Rage against the Machine while also thinking tom morello and zack dela rocha are nothing but race baiting sellouts.

2
meals23 2 points ago +2 / -0

nobody is perfect and half the fun in relationships is teasing the other about the stuff they like and the stuff they do. my girl is Colombian and listens to all that crazy Hispanic music shit that just sounds like noise to me, meanwhile I listen to Amon Amarth and to me it's some of the most brutal shit known to man but she says it sounds like cookie monster. so when we go to the gym i make sure to blast that shit as loud as i can until she gets annoyed and starts screeching at me, i say what it's just cookie monster who doesn't love cookie monster

we torture each other for laughs and nothing makes me happy like seeing her go all Latin on me, that's how you know it's real love. I hate when I have to travel for work because I can't fall asleep properly if she's not next to me. my point is there's a lot more important things in relationships than just whatever garbage they listen to for music . Not everybody can be 100% based in all things

0
chupacabra 0 points ago +2 / -2

Big time. They always pretend that they are just watching it "to make fun of it" or because they're "so stupid it makes me laugh" but in reality it's what they want. If your girl listens to hip hop and rap I hope you're black, or you're in for a rude awakening at some point.

They also want you to be wholesome, and for you to endeavor to make us better people even if we bitch about it every step of the way.

Modern feminism has failed you.

12
Ebbie8708 12 points ago +12 / -0

I cook, clean? And my favorite thing to do right now is cross stitch.

Yes, I want to be in one of those old couples who has a couch and a lazy boy in the living room next to each other. I’m at the edge of the couch doing some sort of old woman craft while the husband is on his lazy boy next to me either snoring or reading.

5
Dialectic 5 points ago +5 / -0

She’s a keeper right here

3
Frog_Anne 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh, I love to see old couples! Especially when they're hobbling along with their canes and walkers, they can hardly walk but they just prop each other up and keep going. It is so sweet, relationship goals!

5
jive-ass-turkey 5 points ago +5 / -0

And, whatever you do, don't listen to them when they tell you, or make the horrible mistake of asking them, what they want.

They don't know either.

My girl-friends get mad at me for saying that then smile because they know it is true. I seriously have never had a girl-friend even take me to task on this statement, which I think is telling.

Don't get me wrong, we men don't either, y'all just think you know. Most of us know we'll never figure you out, and gave up on trying a long time ago. The smart ones did at least.

That's ties in to my theory on how dating in general really should be approached. You start out dating thinking you know what you want and, hopefully, through the trials and tribulations of your relationships you end up learning what you really need.

The answer to that is the same and different for everyone of us at the same time, I think.

There are certain things all successful relationships share, but the list isn't very long.

There are many different ways of having a successful marriage. What works for you might not work for others, and that is perfectly fine.

There seems to be no advice people love giving more than marriage advice, for some reason, just look at me go here.

The only advice that matters is that which originates from your SO, nobody else's.

4
Dialectic 4 points ago +4 / -0

People enjoy sharing wisdom of their experiences. Some of it is because we like being helpful, some of it is probably a little vain.

My favorite piece of advice for new parents is something I experienced and wished someone would have told me: don’t get button-up onesies. Don’t let your parents or friends buy you button-up onesies. Only get zipper onesies. The reason being is when it’s 4 am and you’re tired as fuck and have to get up in a couple hours for work so you’re irritated too, and you’re changing your infant’s blowout diaper, you really don’t want to have to deal with those tiny evil buttons

He told me this year (after 21 years together) that when he met me, he thought I was too good to be true.

How did he hold on to that gem of a statement for 21 years?

The great thing from my perspective as a man is, IMO, if he didn't still feel that way about you he wouldn't have told you, even now.

I feel the exact same way about mine.

Thank you for sharing that. Brought a smile to my face.

If I had a time machine, I'd go back to the 60s and bitch slap every hippie feminist who burned her bra and pushed for women in the workforce. They screwed us.

I wanted to be a 50s style housewife - there is honor in raising a family and running a home.

Now we are supposed to do that and pull serious bucks.

1
Dialectic 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's a gigantic stressful strain on women (well, GOOD women). I've seen it play out with basically all of my wife's female friends and my female acquaintances. College, job, married, kids then: "Wait... I want to be home with my kid." And then it dawns on them. The reality of their nature and that they've been lied to. They WANT to be at home. They freakin LOVE it.

We know someone with a mathematics degree who thought it was her literal calling to educate people. After her child she's like fuck this, I'm quitting in a year and it'll be a miserable year. I want family over this. lol.....

I always think of the movie Animal House when it comes to romance and love.

Do you want the pussified guy playing the acoustic guitar to a bunch of floozies?

Or would you rather have Bluto who smashes said guitar against the wall and ends up a one woman man?

The first 5 years it's "house sex" when you do it in every room in the house.

The next 15 years is "bedroom sex" when you only do it in the bedroom.

The last 30 years is "hall sex" when you just yell fuck you down the hall.

Just hoping to find my MAGA lady one day. Dating sucks here in Chicagoland.

1
runonce 1 point ago +2 / -1

You may have answered your own question. Apparently the conservative girls in Chicago are extremely attractive, well educated and accomplished. If competing at this level is in your wheelhouse here's an example. I have already forwarded this to my son. https://thefederalist.com/author/evitaduffy/

2
GoldwaterVoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why is it most conservative ladies in media are much hotter than lib females???

Evita proves this rule.

1
mellestal 1 point ago +1 / -0

My guess? Conservatives think about consequences, Lefties think about reward. Eat what you want in small amounts and you'll likely stay fit/not obese vs eat whatever you want whenever you want and you'll be slobbishly obese in no time. Exercise vs sitting on ones arse at Starbucks. Reading the news versus reading the headline. On and on we could go.

Consequences of actions tend to prevent that action from occurring, while rewards for actions tend to lead to that action being done.

Almost impossible to find a conservative man that loves God, supports Trump, and has a decent job to support a family. Me? I’m already there!

Come on man, don’t tease us like that. We need some details. Like altitude, target location, weather and wind directions, what were the commies last words?

3
bugger 3 points ago +3 / -0

Vietnam. He was an "Advisor" as the war started. was training some foreign soldiers that were to be on our side and then one stood up and pulled the pin on a hand grenade inside their chopper so he pushed him out, grenade in hand. Also told me a story about going very high in choppers and cutting the engines and falling, then starting engines again. Also, he had a box of photos from that time with lots of "Heads"... Vietnam was crazy times. BUT those commies at their worst were 1 million times smarter than the ones who protest he says.

3
HonkNJhonk [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

This here is prime example why so many vets came back fucked up. The nature of that war drove men insane. My hat off to your father and thank him for his service.

Pinochet did nothing wrong, just saying.

4
Crockett 4 points ago +5 / -1

It's not one of those sudden memes, this one has been a low boil for a while. I don't know the full details of the origin, but basically it comes down to "Throw communists from helicopters" and Pinochet (who apparently actually did that).

3
boomerbutnotOKBoomer 3 points ago +3 / -0

One of the hardest things for conservative boomer women is our Departments of War killed off a lot of really good men. You had to be physically and mentally fit. They drafted good men without the connections or money to get out. Now so many of them lie 6 feet under, or worse, in a refrigerator box in an alleyway. They blew up their bodies, their minds, their self-worth, and destroyed them with drugs and agent orange. That seriously cut into the pool of available, conservative, patriotic men.

For me, a good man would be between 57 and 70. Primarily because those in their late 50's missed the Vietnam War. And, most of the good ones are married or in a committed relationship. I would never come between that. It's too hard to find someone you can love and trust. So, that's my Saturday night whine. Naw, not really whining. I have a lot of young male friends who are just that... friends. They keep trying to set me up with their fathers... but even their fathers are too young! kek

2
HonkNJhonk [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

This comment just got to me on several levels. Although I’m about 20 years shy of you target audience, I have known many men from the era you speak of. Actually one of my closest neighbors and friend is 71 and went to Nam. He really is a great guy but some of the things that happened to his body are not fair. Men like him are very few and far between. Which is why what you said hits home.

Him and I often talk and connect on a brotherly-level. We have a mutual respect and understanding of each other despite the age difference. A lot of it comes from our hobby of woodworking. I would honestly choose to hang out and get drunk with him over someone my own age, any night.

Idk what point I’m trying to make, except that I’d hang out with you any day. Give some of those guys a chance because we’re not all bound to the number of our ages.

2
boomerbutnotOKBoomer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh thank you so much. It's lonely out here for older boomer women who are patriots and single. Though I do find a lot of younger men I can talk with. There are some things that being near the same generation helps. Some shared experiences and understandings. The best part of being older is I just don't do "drama" anymore. Not worth the effort. And that's what men your age really appreciate!

We really do need to find a way for legitimate connections with each other without doxxing ourselves or putting up with trolls and shills causing us problems...
