It is a great school with very small class sizes and specialized majors. Professors are overwhelmingly conservative in nature minus things like the communication department which is gen ed (but you don't spend more than 1 or 2 classes interacting with them). It is a school focused on learning and won't provide the stereotypical college experience. Students are more focused on their studies rather than partying. The worst part is the lack of women lmao, when I was there it was around 8 men to every 2 women. Overall it is a great university and I had a great time earning 2 degrees.

It is expensive especially depending on your major (i.e. aeronautical science which is a piloting) but can be worth it do to the high post graduate job rate and all the contacts you make there. If your student is interested in ROTC you can get schooling pretty much paid for though which is what I did. If your student is a girl you can get a huge scholarship to go there since the numbers are so low. They hand out athletic scholarships like candy if your student is even semi good. Lastly, I had friends who were struggling financially when they went there and they talked to the financial aid workers and they were very helpful. One friend recieved $20,000 for telling them he would have to drop out without it. They have numerous grants, scholarships, and zero percent interest loans to help out.

If you have any other questions just let me know.

No worries, I had 2 degrees. One in Homeland Security and one in Global Conflict studies, all paid for through ROTC.
