Flying used to be fun and something I looked forward to.

That was long ago kiddies.

I member a smoking section in the back and meals being served.

In before - "Okay Boomer"

Yes, I flew coach on Eastern Airlines in the 1970's and service was superior than First Class today.

Do you remember Hughes or Ozark Airlines?

Ya, me too, those days are gone.

Never flew those, but I did fly on Pan Am and 'People's Express;' once sat on the tarmac at JFK for nearly fives hours - open bar. Those days are gone.

Hughes Airlines was out of Las Vegas owned by Howard Hughes.

Ozark? I just remember flying through storm turbulence at night in a turbo prop as a kid into St Louis. The whole plane was screaming and my Mom trying to comfort me. Didn't really bother me. Guess I was too young to understand.
