Get off your high horse. Both of us work, my two in high school are going to finish just fine and both have part time jobs. My oldest is doing college at a tech school and working too.
You can't expect to withdraw from all institutions and ever hope to change society. The biggest factor in a child's success and development is the involvement of their parents, home school or non. We need to get money, influence and positions of power. Not just hide away living like peasants.
Also my 2 youngest are MAGA and Kate Brown has done a fantastic job ensuring the oldest will never vote Democrat.
