“Door girl” screams repeatedly “sir where’s your mask” I kept walking, then she started screaming for the manager. Manager chases me down. I turn tell him I have a medical condition and I can socially distance. Go about my merry way, making sure that when I leave I make eye contact with front door girl and smile! Just doing my part.

I’ve been frequenting a local small business in my neighborhood at least once a week since the lockdown started. They no longer allow entry. I walk up to the curb and order and the person inside takes the order on a handheld device and then puts it on a table between us and I run my card and then when my order is ready they call my name and place my coffee and pastry on the table between the sidewalk and the entrance.
I’ve always gone mask less and no one has ever said anything. I’ve been leaving generous tips as a result. For the first time ever, after almost 6 months, some entitled teenager refused to help me unless I put my mask on this last weekend. I threw the mask on, ordered my coffee and left no tip. Seriously questioning if I will go back. I can make coffee at home and was seriously going there as a courtesy to support a small business and the people who work there. Ain’t got time for mask BS after 6 months of not having to wear one. This shit is getting stupid.
