I gotta say I think this would fall into the category of annoying behavior. Just stop watching and move on. Doesn't have to become a crusade. I mean if the topic comes up speak your piece, but I'd be more in favor of maybe doing something productive with your time on Sundays or perhaps even I dunno... maybe actually honoring the sabbath in some way.
Don't you agree that it's kind of annoying to preach about boycotting stuff to the uninitiated? Like a vegan telling you about factory farms while you're eating cheeseburger kind of thing.
Again, if the topic comes up I'm fine with an open discussion. I just think preaching about normal life choices (especially trivial stuff like what you watch on TV) is very annoying.
Ironically, the Simpsons would be a good example of what I'm talking about though. They have gone full virulent anti-Trump and anti-Republican/conservative and are even pretty openly hostile to America and Americans in general. They also have fallen for all the SJW stuff like replacing Apu and other lame stuff. However, if people want to watch it I wouldn't spend much time trying to convince them not to. I might bring up some of these gripes in a general conversation though if appropriate.
In fact I've even gone on pirated/free streaming sites myself and watched some newer episodes in addition to the classics. It's a lot more hit and miss now, but if I knew someone who was a fanatic of the Simpsons in current year I wouldn't lecture them about how they are supporting the anti-American, anti-religion, pro-globalist, etc. Disney corporation.
