If communism worked why does it always have to infest a host nation? Why do we not see 50 successful examples of communism spring up in random African and Middle Eastern countries?

Exactly. If socialism was the superior system, employee-owned companies would handily beat out shareholder-owned companies and capitalism would simply evolve into socialism. Every day that doesn't happen is another day that proves their system sucks.
