Haven't worn a mask in stores. The most I've gotten is a few dirty looks.

Per HIPAA/ADA they can’t ask you shit, the fines for ADA violations are $90K first offense, $190k for the 2nd.
The airlines will choose to violate your rights regardless of the threat of fines. They will refuse you service, then ban you, you would need to sue them after the fact.

Second attempt at adding a comment; HIPPA and ADA are federal laws, the state of Oregon has no right to try to “get rid of” Federal law.

I got into an argument at McDonald’s with the manager, I did say “I am sorry I started this conversation” but did not back down and I ate “in dining” After never wearing a mask once while setting foot in the restaurant. After I ordered inside, they told me no mask = drive thru, I told them too late, here’s my receipt, I’m not wearing a fucking mask. That was a hill I was ready to stand my ground on.
I can sit in the restaurant and eat without wearing a mask, but they want me to walk in the door wearing a fucking mask for two minutes? Fuck that, it’s Idiocracy...

Most stores don’t care. I’ve walked past the employees at the door that I assume are there to check for masks and they just stare at me as I walk in. They don’t want to get into a confrontation over a low paying job. It’s all theater now and everyone knows it. Everyone is just acting in a play right now
My local chain grocer has quietly admitted they won't enforce it. It is so pathetic that when it gets busy they will station a employee at the door to count to ensure they don;t go over occupancy limits, however they start counting at zero people in the store while huge lines at at the registers.
