Predators don't even walk around killing other animals. Even they know, instinctively, that unnecessary violent encounters only increases the risk to their own survival. They won't risk injury unless they feel they have to.
The hyper violent ones have already been purged from the gene pool, they died before they could pass on their genes.

Animals kill out of necessity. People who do this stuff are way worse.
