I have a MAGA friend who used to be a gang banger, when I hear the stuff he did when he was younger, and how he tells me how much worse it has gotten in the last 10 years, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a teenager.
My friend did some crazy degenerate stuff at 12! But yeah, at 16 he was already rolling around with an SKS. Grace of God he didn't shoot anyone back then.
He might have done some time in juvenile hall for possession of weapons, but as I don't think he ever actually fired on anyone, he never got hammered by the system.
I never knew him then, and as long as I've known him he's been a really nice guy. When he told me stories about his teenage years, though, it made sense why he is the most unabashedly MAGA person I know, as he really isn't worried about what people think. He will wear a MAGA hat anywhere, doesn't wear a mask (except when his work makes him, and they had to make him not wear a Trump 2020 mask), will try to convince anyone who doesn't like Trump about how great Trump is and how they've been deceived. He's lost plenty of friends over it, I see him called a race traiter or whatever online because he's Latino.
But yeah, he probably deserved more time than he got, life isn't always fair, God has more patience and mercy with some than makes sense to us.

Being nice doesn't excuse your past . Gang bangers all need to be publicly executed
If he has truly repented and is a convert to good he should be exalted. If it's good enough for jesus it's good enough for me.
