And the reason it's "a waste of ammo" is because most of the times an engagement with a rifle is medium to long distance. But it's quite useful when you're in close proximity being overrun (like Kenosha Kyle) or mounted to a barricade suppressing fire or engaging a large force.
I just miss my M249 and M240 days. People don’t realize how easy it is to handle automatic weapons. They aren’t some crazy magic. You just walk your rounds up to and on your target. I’ve seen an M249 do some pretty nasty things 😈
I never had an issue but it was an ND machine for soldiers in my training class. Thankfully we were using blanks. Open bolt firearms require at least 3x more training than closed bolt.
Absolutely suppressors need to be made available to everyone. It's unacceptable that a law abiding citizen is supposed to get ear damage as a price to defend himself in his home.
That's an example of a law made by politicians that take their info from Hollywood, they are probably still convinced that a suppressor makes a gun quiet like a fart.

Repeal the NFA, GCA, & Hughes Amendment and all State firearm laws to be unconstitutional as well.
