Some of us prefer to go the extra step to ensure safety. Can’t ever be too safe around a firearm. No such thing as being too safe. Redundancies save life’s.
Why just wear a lap belt? Strap on both the lap belt and shoulder belt in the car.
Just an extra measure of safety.
I’m assuming OP has a loaded/chambered firearm readily accessible for self defense. No need to keep everything loaded all the time. No reason not to have flags.
I know some people think it’s dumb. But that’s just personal preference.
