How did they get to the NFL? Was it because getting into college was too easy? I assume college football is necessary to hone skills needed for pro football. But how did they get through high school? GED perhaps?

Whatever it takes to protect their playing status, from personal tutors, to absurdly easy "courses," to the team management covering for them when they go off the rails. Everyone on all sides looks the other way as much as they can. It's become a de facto tradition at many big football schools & towns, in fact.
The result? The players learn little except about corruption and the power of money and fame.
