The irony is that science is a man-made concept. There's nothing inherently real about science. It's a methodology for understanding how or why things work or don't work, etc.
Exactly right, and the problem with modern "science" is they've largely thrown out iterative experimental methods for either fill-in-the-blanks-till-you-get-the-answer-the-boss-wants computer models or complete horseshit someone just made up.
The real classical science being done these days is mostly in engineering fields, because it has to work.
With all the tools and datasets available now, making a robust and sound basic bridge should be easier, quicker, and more reliable ever before...until you select your employees more on their genitals and melanin content than competence.
