These are the people saying "trust science!" But what they fail to realize is that real science is based on distrust. It's why evidence and detailed reasoning are always supplied along with the conclusions and why experiments must be repeated by others.

When you trust someone, you don't ask them to back up their claims or explains themselves. You just take them at their word. And that is exactly what science is not.
