It goes back to the media/gov convincing every Karen that it is a super deadly disease and you will die if you get it or kill someone else. They have been convinced, among other things, that if we all just wore a mask and hid inside for a few weeks, except to get groceries, that somehow the virus would just die off never to be seen again.

They refuse to understand the science that CCPVirus, like every other virus in all of history, will never go away, it will always be present on this earth for eternity. Sadly, I don't know if people like that will ever be "normal" again, I suspect they have PTSD or whatnot from watching MSCNNDNC for 5 months on all the new ways CCPVirus will kill them.
